Hand Therapy
Hand therapists are occupational therapists who have achieved membership of the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA) after years of clinical experience and further university training. They work closely with surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, GPs and hospitals to provide conservative and post-operative care. The goal of the hand therapist is to restore movement, strength and full functional use of hands, wrists and elbows.
