Diena passionately believes in delivering bespoke case management and speech pathology services committed to achieving high quality, holistic, integrated and comprehensive outcomes for all of her clients.

Diena is Managing Director and senior clinician of 2 businesses, The Speech Pathology Practice and The Nature of Therapydelivering focussed, functional, dynamic and results-driven case management and speech pathology services across the life-span.

With over 35 years of clinical experience across metropolitan, regional and rural health contexts in both NSW/Queensland including public and private hospitals and community health centres, non-government organisations, private practice, the previous Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service, Brain-Injury Services, Aged Care facilities, Schools, Universities and Local Health Districts, Diena brings a wealth of clinical, management and health services experience.

Additional to her specialist field of speech pathology Diena has experience in a diversity of professional roles including lecturer, allied health manager, governing council member per public health Local Health District (LHD) and tertiary level/university supervisor providing both peer support and mentoring to fellow clinicians and undergraduate students.

Diena’s special clinical interest areas include:

  • Paediatric-adolescent and adult Autism, ASD, ADHD, neurodevelopmental and neurodiversity with behavioural issues and therapy for speech, language and cognitive disorders.
  • Adult Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Brain Injury and Stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia and associated neurological and cognitive disorders and therapy.
  • Neuroplasticity and applications in rehabilitation.
